Registration for our free, full-day Summer Learning Program will close on Tuesday May 19th!
Enrollment is open for students currently enrolled in grades K-8. This program is open to all students, regardless of academic level. It is not summer school! Instead, it is a fun and engaging opportunity designed to help students stay active, continue building skills, and enjoy exciting summer experiences with their peers.
This program will offer a summer full of hands-on enrichments and fun activities designed to keep students learning, creating, exploring, and connecting with friends in a safe environment.
Students who participate can look forward to:
- participating in fun, hands-on enrichment activities
- taking field trips
- strengthening their reading and math skills
- exploring opportunities such as science, cooking, art, community service, and more
- enjoying nutritious meals, and
- staying connected with friends in a safe, structured, and engaging environment.
For our current 5th grade students, this program could offer an especially exciting opportunity. If enough 5th grade and middle school students register, we may be able to host fifth graders at Toppenish Middle School for the summer program. This would give our incoming 6th graders a chance to become more familiar with their new school, learn the layout, build comfort and confidence, make new friends, and enjoy a soft launch into middle school before the school year begins. We strongly encourage families to register soon and to invite classmates and friends to sign up as well. The more 5th graders who register, the greater the opportunity to make this special middle school experience available.
Families can register by completing the ParentSquare form attached to this message or by filling out a paper registration form and returning it the school or district office. Paper forms are available in school offices and at our district office. Registration will close on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
